How can a doula help me during my pregnancy?
A doula provides emotional, informational, and physical support advice. You’ll meet through a secure video call and be able to chat in between appointments as well. Your doula can help with pregnancy questions, birth planning, pain management techniques, as well as postpartum care best practices, all from the comfort of your home.
Do I need any special equipment for virtual doula sessions?
No special equipment is needed. You can join your virtual doula sessions right from your phone in the Pacify app!
Can I choose the same doula for all my sessions?
Yes, you will be paired with the perfect doula for your needs and work together throughout your pregnancy and postpartum for all of your sessions. We’ve found this builds trust and creates the best experience for our members.
Is there a limit to how many appointments I can have?
In addition to supporting you through labor and delivery, your doula will be available for 2 visits during pregnancy and 1 visit after delivery. You can schedule these sessions at any time during your pregnancy and after delivery.
Are my sessions with my doula confidential?
Absolutely. Your privacy and safety are our top priorities. All sessions with your doula are confidential, providing a safe space for you to discuss your needs and concerns.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel a session?
You can easily reschedule or cancel a session in the Pacify app with the click of a button. If you need to cancel an appointment within 24 hours of scheduled session, chat your care coordinator to let them know.
