How do I become a Pacify Doula or Lactation Consultant?

When do I take calls for Pacify?
Depending on the Pacify network you join, you can answer calls on our 24/7 on-demand line, answer chats, and schedule calls in the comfort of your home.
What kind of technology do I need to work at Pacify?
To work with Pacify, you’ll need:
- A reliable smartphone (iOS or Android) with the latest operating system
- A computer or tablet for accessing charting requirements
- High-speed internet connection
- A quiet, private space for conducting visits
Do you have a minimum number of hours I need to work per month?
Yes, to maintain active status in the Pacify network, we require a minimum commitment per month. Details will be discussed upon interview. However, we offer flexible scheduling options that allow you to choose the times that work best for your schedule. You can increase your hours during periods where you have more availability.
Do I have to participate in any training to become part of the Pacify network?
Yes, all Pacify doulas and lactation consultants must complete our comprehensive onboarding program, which includes:
- Platform orientation and technical training
- Clinical protocols
- Charting documentation requirements
- Annual continuing education or recertification requirements
What happens if I have colleagues or friends who may be interested in working for Pacify?
We welcome referrals from you! If you know qualified doulas or lactation consultants who might be interested in joining Pacify, please share our website with them.
How am I paid at Pacify?
Payment is straightforward: the Pacify app automatically tracks the time you spend on each interaction, so you’re paid accurately and seamlessly. We love engaging our doulas and lactation consultants in creative ways to expand their earning potential.
There are about 3.7 million births a year in the United States. Is Pacify available for everyone?
Great question! Any parent in the United States or Puerto Rico can use Pacify. There are many ways parents gain access to services, including:
- We actively partner with WIC, Title V, Medicaid, commercial health plans and hospital systems in certain states that allow parents to use Pacify for free.
- Certain insurance plans may offer Pacify as a benefit.
- Employers can partner with Pacify to offer our services as a new parent benefit.
- Parents can purchase Pacify memberships inside the app.
