FAQs
What is Pacify?
Pacify is a mobile app that connects new and expecting parents with expert doulas and lactation consultants. Through video calls, you can get guidance on pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, and infant feeding.
How do I sign up?
Simply download the Pacify app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account, choose your membership, and you’ll be ready to connect with an expert.
What can I expect during a call?
Each session is tailored to your needs. You can ask questions, receive guidance on specific topics, or simply talk through any concerns with a certified professional.
What mobile connection do I need to have?
The Pacify app works on any smartphone with reliable internet connectivity. A 4G or 5G connection are both sufficient, though it is best to use the app while connected to Wi-Fi.
Are my visits private?
Using Pacify is a personal experience, and your consultations with our providers are private. You can choose whether or not to share aggregate data about your Pacify interactions with your company (so they can understand program usage). Pacify meets all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
What topics can Pacify help with?
You can ask Pacify experts anything about pregnancy, the postpartum period, and feeding your baby! Common topics include preparing for labor, birth plans, recovering from birth, breastfeeding, sleeping patterns, rashes, going back to work, and more. You can’t fill a prescription with Pacify, but you can ask about an existing prescription.
Which languages does Pacify support?
Pacify provides a Spanish version of our app and access to Spanish-speaking providers. For other languages, we use CyraCom translation services to ensure you receive the support you need in your preferred language.
