FAQs
How do I become a Pacify Doula?
Joining the Pacify team is simple! Start by filling out our application here to get started. Our Clinical Department will contact you for an interview if interested. We do our best to be responsive to inquiries about our hiring process, but please keep in mind that our responses may be delayed due to a high volume of applications.
How will I be connected with clients?
Pacify connects you with clients depending on your time and availability through both personalized matches for scheduled care both virtually and in-person, allowing you to support a wide range of families.
How will I get paid?
Pacify provides reliable monthly payments, so you can count on regular income without the need for billing clients yourself.
Who am I supporting?
As a Pacify Doula, you’ll support families virtually through the prenatal, birth, and postpartum stages. Our families come from a range of backgrounds, including those with WIC, Title V, Medicaid, commercial health plans, hospital systems, insurance, employer, and self-pay members. In some areas, Pacify also offers in-person support, giving families an even broader range of care options.
Do I need to be certified?
All Pacify Doulas must have attended training with a doula training organization. Certification is not required to join the Pacify team, but is needed for long-term service. Pacify offers scholarships, mentorship, and other opportunities to help doulas attain and maintain certification. Alternative experience and training may be considered on a case-by-case basis for doulas wishing to work with Pacify.
Can I still have my own business if I work with Pacify?
Yes! Working with Pacify doesn’t limit your ability to maintain your own doula practice. You’ll have the flexibility to work independently while also supporting Pacify families.
